Present owner, Richard
Santiano, bought Johnson’s
in 1991, after working for his father for many years in
Millis; he made his dream come true of owning his own business.
Rick made a few alterations to the restaurant by adding
a steam table for home cooked meals such as turkey, ham,
and Italian dinners. He also changed the ice cream recipe
adding many flavors over the years. Rick’s daughters
have all worked at the restaurant over the years. He really
enjoys working with younger kids because after all it keeps
him younger at heart.
